The average US wedding cost $34,000 in 2025, across more than 10,000 couples surveyed in The Knot Worldwide's 2026 Real Weddings Study. Complete is $79 — under a quarter of one percent of that, charged once.

How we make money

MarryMath is paid for once, by the couple planning the wedding. That's it. We don't take referral fees from vendors, we don't sell leads, and we don't sell your data — those are the exact incentives that make other "free" wedding sites unable to tell you when a quote is too high.

That isn't a guess about how the free sites work. WeddingPro, The Knot Worldwide's vendor-facing brand, sells wedding vendors paid plans for expanded visibility on The Knot and WeddingWire. Their customer is the vendor. Ours is you.

Common questions

Do you take money from wedding vendors?

No. MarryMath takes $0 from vendors — no referral fees, no lead sales, no paid placement. The couple pays once, and that is the entire business model. It is also why we can tell you a quote looks high when other planning sites cannot.

Is this a subscription?

No. Complete is $79 and Family is $129, each charged one time. There is no renewal, no monthly fee, and nothing to cancel.

What do I get without paying?

The free tier includes the full week-by-week planning timeline, the done / next / at-risk dashboard, and task tracking. The wedding budget calculator and reverse-timeline generator are free to use without an account at all.

Where do the price-fairness ranges come from?

Every fairness flag shows its source. Ranges start from published category and region pricing data, and each flag states which reference it used, so you can check the reasoning rather than trust a number. We never show a comparison we cannot attribute.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, on any tier, at any time, from within the app. You can export your timeline, tasks, quotes, and budget as JSON or CSV.

What if it is not for me?

Complete and Family include a 30-day money-back guarantee. Email us within 30 days of purchase and we refund it.

One thing worth doing regardless: put every vendor deposit on a credit card, not a bank transfer. The FTC's guidance on using credit cards and disputing charges sets out the billing-error rights that let you dispute in writing within 60 days when you don't get what you paid for. We take payment the same way, through Stripe, so the same protection covers us too.
